You should have the below knowledge
• Knowledge of IKEA concept, brand objectives, values, and vision.
• Knowledge of IKEA food safety and compliance standard and processes.
• Knowledge of IKEA sustainability strategy.
• Knowledge of local food legislations and operational compliance standards and documentation.
• Knowledge regarding HACCP, food safety standards and procedures.
• Knowledge of business operational basic processes.
• Broad knowledge about the local market environment and food safety expectations from customers today and tomorrow to secure that commercial and service offers meet customer demands and needs.
You should have the ability to understand the complexity of the IKEA business and the role of food safety as an important and integrated part of the business. You should possess good leadership capabilities including ability to lead peers and stakeholders while communicating in an inspirational way with an IKEA tone of voice. Ability to multitask and adjust priorities and make decisions with speed and simplicity. Ability to follow up and measure performance of output and capture learnings to improve planning and performance moving forward.
You should be motivated by the IKEA culture and values and the unique IKEA range and be motivated by ensuring compliant and safe products, processes, and customer experience. Motivated by contributing to a customer extraordinary experience and putting the customer first. Your responsibilities

Your Job Specific Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for securing compliance and food safety framework and standards, WoW (Ways of Working), and tools for the IKEA Food areas and selling solutions in the unit.
• Be an active partner to the store commercial team by securing the food safety compliance in all food activities and events.
• Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within the Food team to secure integration and a common approach.
• Support stakeholders on ensuring the implementation of local legal legislation on product specification, labelling, import (if applicable) and other related processes.
• Liaise with external companies and authorities ensuring food safety compliance and verification activities e.g. HACCP certification, microbiological, and other food safety related analyses or tests.
• Ensure regular HACCP/ISO certification on a unit level and actively contribute to the country agenda. Take an active role in supporting the process of food safety and compliance audits.
• Secure clear internal communication on food safety and compliance. Facilitate with knowledge transfer, training, information and sharing to, and between, the unit Food team.
• Contribute to the implementation of the IKEA global and national strategies (affordability, accessibility, people & planet).
