Who you are

As Fulfilment Operations Manager, you will take the accountability and overall responsibility for a high-performing Store Fulfilment organisation in the market, including:

- Daily fulfilment operations in all stores in the market
- Efficiency and continuous improvement
- Short and mid-term capacities
- Cost development and contribution to the cost goal

Next to that you have:

- Good business understanding of key performance measurement used to plan, follow up and steer the business with a customer-centric approach
- Excellent knowledge of the customer and co-worker needs, demands and expectations on the markets
- Very good knowledge of market intelligence: applies market knowledge to achieve organisational goals and objectives; include market specifics in decision making process
- Good knowledge of change and project management and leading in the unknown/exploring
- Very good knowledge of different leadership styles (such as interdependent, indirect, situational etc.) and needs as well as appropriate use for different situations
- Stakeholder management: very good knowledge of how to identify and involve relevant stakeholders in a project, process or question to make things happen
- Very good financial competence and understanding of the financial impact on total network
- Understanding of cultural differences and importance of diverse teams to meet the customers’ expectations

Your responsibilities

In your role, you will be:

- Accountable for high performing daily operations and an efficient distribution network connected to all fulfilment operations in all IKEA stores in the market including standard operating procedures, planning, execution and follow up and day to day continuous improvement of operations and the goods-flow process with a focus on quality and a customer-centric, collaborative mind-set in all touchpoints
- Accountable to lead, coach and develop the market Store Fulfilment organisation and the respective store function in a matrix relationship to secure an inspiring and motivating environment where people and talent are continuously developed
- Accountable for ensuring that Store Fulfilment is considered an equal business partner on market level towards all relevant stakeholders
- Accountable for securing efficiency and implementing improvements in all stores in a market being part of a Multichannel Network in cooperation with relevant stakeholders (e.g. Group Operations, Market Fulfilment Development and Network, Market Retail) throughout the organisation.
- Accountable for ensuring short- and mid-term capacities and resources in the market's Store Fulfilment network to provide seamless shopping experience with great quality for the many people
- Accountable for promoting and stimulating entrepreneurial orientation and contribution to development and innovation for the own organization
- Accountable for the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment sustainability agenda for Store Fulfilment operations in all stores on the market.

In this role you will report to the Country Customer Fulfilment manager.
