IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team.
Love food and customer service? As an IKEA Food Assistant, you will be immersed in both. If you thrive in a fast-paced and team-focused environment, this role will allow you to experience our wonderful everyday.
We have opportunities in our front-of-house customer restaurant and dishwashing area, our Swedish Food Market, as well as the kitchen production and food preparation areas.
WHAT WE OFFER
• Induction date will be weekend of 09 and 10 of November.
• Competitive hourly rate of £12.00 per hour.
• We have contracts from 12 hours a week to 24 hours a week, and so availability to work two evenings during the week (from 16:00pm to 21:00pm) and 3 in 4 weekends is essential to meet our many customers.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• Prior food and customer service experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
• Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
• Due to health and safety regulations, all applicants must be over the age of 18.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• In the Kitchen Production role, you will be required to serve food - with an emphasis on consistency and portion control, as well as work behind the scenes to prepare food, and work in our co-worker restaurant.
• In the Front of House role, you will take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant, and work in our busy dish-room.
• In both roles, you will ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
• You will support your colleagues, lend a hand, and foster a positive work environment, contributing to a happy team.
