We are excited to announce that we are now hiring a proactive, resilient and adaptable Director for Co-worker enablement and experience to join us in a key leadership role to transform INGKA into a modern workplace.

As part of the Digital Workplace Leadership Team, this role embodies the values and culture of IKEA. Challenges are met with a collaborative spirit, turning obstacles into opportunities for growth. As our Director you build strong collaboration with peers across the totality of Ingka and towards the major service integrators and vendors we partner with to spearhead excellent co-worker experience across the IKEA value chain.

Who you are

At IKEA, we are seeking a Director with a personality that radiates positivity and a genuine passion for both people and problem-solving. You are empathetic, have a passion for digital employee experience and love maximizing employee awareness, adoption and satisfaction. You have a human-centric mindset and can see and explain how an organisation holistically can exploit technology to improve employee experience and engagement.

In this role, you are the bridge between cutting-edge technology and seamless customer experiences, ensuring that every interaction reflects IKEA's values of simplicity, functionality, and sustainability.

You will:
Play a crucial leadership role and you will be responsible for setting up how we should do Digital Employee Experience and Co-worker adoption within IKEA.

Lead a team of Experience and Enablement leaders to map out co-worker journeys, and identify digital friction and pin-points.

Directly work with the corresponding XMO of our chosen strategic partner where you take a holistic view on Digital Employee Experience primarily from an endpoint/device perspective but lead cross application, infrastructure and support for an overall experience.

You will be leading your area to excellence and work with stakeholders to ensure to deliver the expected business value. You will work with people development as well as technology steering through business outcomes and value-driven priorities.

There is one thing more important than any other - You empower your team of product owners, engineers and delivery leads towards set goals and OKRs and you lead and develop them into a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the employee experience strategy for Digital Workplace.
• Design, manage and initiate employee experience initiatives.
• Measure and analyze employee experience data together with service integrators to identify actionable insights.
• Collaborate with group functions like P&C, IKEA Group Digital and other relevant stakeholders that have an impact on employee experience.
• Create a culture of enablement to drive adoption and improve workforce digital dexterity.
• Build partnerships among key stakeholders and business leaders to ensure that digital workplace initiatives support business outcomes.
• Taking a data-driven approach to understand and optimize the complex relationship between technology investments, employee experience and business outcomes.
• Champion the modernization of workforce technology and services to enable/empower new ways of working and digital business transformation.
• Create a culture of data-driven analysis of the DEX.
• Demonstrate digital dexterity and create a culture of workforce digital dexterity by driving leadership in adoption (what), enablement (how) and influence (why), to drive digital business goals (when).
• Explore and improve how employees digitally engage with each other, customers and business partners.
• Utilize organizational change management best practices to drive technology adoption.
• Collaborate with colleagues in internal communications to communicate how digital workplace applications benefit employees through enablement campaigns.
• Work closely with other digital colleagues to measure the business impact using DEX, digital experience monitoring (DEM), application performance monitoring (APM), or other analytics and monitoring tools.
• Understand and actively promote the relationships between customer experience (CX), employee experience (EX), DEX teams and more.

Requisite education and experience/Minimum qualifications:
• Degree with a focus on Engineering, Technology or related areas/equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of and diverse experience equal in Digital Foundation or Digital products and service delivery with proven track record of delivering products and services that provide substantial value.
• 5+ years of experience with the services and products within the area.
• 5+ years of experience in running large, multi-disciplinary teams, including competence development and leading teams across multiple locations. Proven knowledge and ability to transform and optimise processes and behaviors.
• Strong demonstratable experience working with 3rd party IT partners/service providers.
• Experience working with tools and ways of working as a part of software development.

The role is based in Malmö or Helsingborg, Sweden and you will report to the Technology Service Area Manager, Digital Workplace.

In this recruitment there is no relocation support provided by Ingka, hence we are looking for people already living in or within commuting distance of the mentioned locations.

Please note that the internal title is Service Manager.
