JOB TYPE – Permanent, Part-time, Hourly Associate,

ON SITE!!

1 year of experience in a high-volume customer facing environment

HOURS – From 12-20 hours per week



5 days availability needed.

SHIFT – Seeking work schedule availability of 5 days,

weekends - Friday, Saturday, Sunday -requirement (8am-11pm)

During the week- minimum 3pm-11pm or open

The operations generally range between the window of 8am to 11pm, and the work schedules are published three weeks in advance. No set schedules



PAY – The starting rate/salary for this position ranges from $19- 27 and will be based on IKEA’s relevant work experience and other factors.

What you'll be doing day to day

Optimizing the shopping experience through knowledgeable and attentive customer service to continually increase sales.
• Creating relationships with customers to provide support in-store and remotely.
• Acting as an expert and consultant on a broad range of products and services to inspire and inform customers.
• Listening to, identifying, anticipating, and responding to customer needs.
• Maximizing sales, while maintaining profitability, by actively steering customers towards top-selling and prioritized products.
• Analyzing and adjusting sales space capacities based on sales location to secure high stock availability.
• Supporting the implementation and upkeep of planned and promotional activities in, or involving, your product range.

QUALIFICATIONS

2 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in the home furnishing sector
Familiarity with basic design principals and modular furniture planning
