Job description

Optimize the IKEA shopping experience in your shop to secure satisfied customers and increase sales.

You use IKEA tools and the experience and expertise of your colleagues. You support the efficient working of the IKEA mechanical sales system to ensure the continued success of the IKEA Concept.

You contribute to fulfilling the four tasks of the IKEA store:

• Act as a highly efficient, and staffed sales mechanism.

• Show home furnishing solutions full of inspiring home furnishing ideas.

• Serve as a well-qualified home furnishing specialist.

Key Assignment


  • Along with the IKEA for Business team, you will ensure that our Business customers gets the best smooth experience from the beginning to the end of the purchase process and follow up on any complaints after delivery.
  • Prepare sales quotations, tender documents, presentation materials and guarantee the support to the team to submit on time.
  • Use your knowledge of the IKEA range to create and post sales orders after checking products availability and delivery dates.
  • Coordinate and follow up with Logistics and Customer Experience confirming accurate items and delivery dates and payments.
  • Organize resources, maintain clients’ information and documentations and communicate relevant information.
  • Prepare sales reports, market analysis and all IKEA for Business store related data.
  • Support sales team with the after sales and follow ups.
  • Help position IKEA as the first choice in B2B in our local market.
  • To provide a fantastic service to our customers by phone and email            
  • You actively assist customers, identify their needs by asking the right questions and advise them on the best solutions for their homes in order to exceed their expectations.
  •   You understand how to use the different IKEA sales and communication channels and know-how for the different customers you meet.
  •  You visit locations/sites to take correct and accurate measurements.
  •   You work together with the interior designers to create and produce high quality drafts and layouts.
  •    You convey passion about IKEA products and actively learn about their features and benefits, and you share this knowledge with customers and colleagues.
  •    You understand the store and department action plans. You take responsibility for your department goals and know how you contribute.
  •    You are familiar with the IKEA social and environmental commitments and know how you can contribute to sustainability.

  • Business-minded and result-driven with a customer focus.
  • Experience of working in a customer- and commercial-oriented business.
  • Confident in approaching and talking to people in a proactive manner.
  • Interest in people’s everyday life at home and home furnishing.
  • Enthusiastic and able to work with others in a team.
