    Additional information:
    • This role is Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight

    • Experience within Facilities Management in large format retail and distribution warehousing will be highly
    regarded
    • The units you will be responsible for are the Marsden Park and Canberra stores and the Distribution Center (Warehouse)
    • Travel between sites will be required
    About this work area
    As Unit Facility Management Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • Managing a team of direct reports to produce quality results
    • Manage the Facilities Management (FM) services through our Integrated FM supplier, including direct supplier
    contracts, with safety and compliance adhered to.
    • Ensure a safe and operational environment for our business, co-workers and customers.
    • Follow up quality of services delivered by all IKEA suppliers through close working relationships and contractual
    obligations
    • Coordinate and execute internal FM related audits and annual reviews.
    • Support FM budgeting activities and the annual business plan in the units you will be responsible for.
    • Organise and chair weekly / monthly meetings to discuss operation issues and contribute to solutions.
    • Responsible for controlling FM costs working closely with the Unit Operations Managers
    • Responsible for certificates and reporting measures to stay compliant with local and national legislation, internal
    rules and requirements regarding the FM scope within Ingka.
    • Provide subject matter expertise and technical support in daily operations and projects related to the FM delivery
    model.
    • Support our sustainability objectives
    • Participate in projects within FM related services as required.
    • Support with training of direct staff you are responsible for

    As Unit Facility Management Manager you are:
    • Someone with minimum 5 years of experience in a senior similar role
    • Passionate about delivering reliable, efficient and seamless FM services to our units.
    • Experienced with senior contract management skills and a solution-focused mindset to resolve FM related issues.
    • Able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve a common goal.
    • Able to identify opportunities and make recommendations to drive continuous improvements, both financially
    and operationally.
    • Able to work autonomously as well as being part of the senior management team, take initiative and possess
    excellent communication skills to deliver set tasks with a sense of urgency.
    • Well established time management skills
    • Experience in managing direct reports.
    • Able to organise, prioritise and manage administrative tasks, with an excellent understanding of Microsoft office
    programs, in particular excel, together with Facilities Management software programs such as CAFM and
    sustainability reporting.
