About You:
• you have at least 2 years of experience in sales or business controlling/navigation,
• you have managerial experience in a dynamic retail environment,
• you are able to secure the overall financial framework for the store,
• you understand commercial initiatives and opportunities creating growth,
• you have the ability to quickly gain a working knowledge of local markets, business conditions and you are interested in the market,
• you are able to handle a constantly changing environment with many different demands of the market and customers’ needs,
• you are open for working proactively and taking the lead in analyzing and finding business opportunities for the store unit,
• you can think out of the box within the frames and you like to learn new things,
• you are passionate about leading businesses through people
• you are fluent in both – written and spoken English and Polish.

About the job: Business Navigation Manager works closely with the management group in an inspiring, supportive and challenging way navigating the company towards growth, optimal performance and sustained long-term profitability. He or she has a multi-dimensional view of a customer, commercial, people in a financial and an operational perspective.

Your tasks:
• Coordinate the Goal/Forecasts processes for the unit, establishing of budgets, communicate and explain goals,
• Secure the unit’s functional reporting according to common rules and deadlines,
• Business Partnering: act as strategic and operational business partner, translating business needs into financial consequences and solutions,
• Highlight discrepancies between goals and actual results in the units and identify corrective actions,
• Provide the Market Manager and the local management teams with reliable navigation information,
• Secure and develop a high consciousness of cost within the unit, initiate cost saving activities,
• Secure the performance measurement and support to improve performance of the major KPIs by being close to operations (organising workshops for business improvement or benchmark activities),
• Facilitate the decision-making process by providing the Market Managers and the local management teams with tools, analysis and/or evaluations of business potentials,
• Contribute to the development of IKEA with participation in competence networks.
