Who you are
We are searching for a new Country Co-worker Relations Leader (as the position is called in IKEA), meaning someone who be responsible to make sure all our 3.500 co-workers in IKEA Switzerland have an engaging, modern and healthy working environment, so they can develop and perform at their best. This role will also support positioning IKEA as a Best-in-Class Company and Employer.

We are looking for you who bring:

• A passion and knowledge for labor law related topics, combined with an interest and ability to connect with people
• The capacity to influence and mix the strategic overview with working with details
• Experience from working with critical topics with a high level of confidentiality
• Independent, organized with the ability to take action without needing direction from others, who takes own responsibility but also is a team-player
• Digital competence and analytical thinking.
• A very good command of English, verbal and written. German, French or Italian is an advantage but not necessary
• Previous experience in a similar role (labor/employee relations) or as an HR/People Manager is an advantage
Your responsibilities
As the Co-worker relations leader you will lead the implementation of the relevant global People policies and standards across Switzerland, ensuring support and engagement from the stakeholders and the People&Culture Community in our units.

Furthermore you will:

• Provide co-worker relations expertise, co-worker insights and advice to the business functions, Country Board and Unit People & Culture Managers
• Monitor the relevant local employment law, best practice development and proactively inform relevant stakeholders about updates, as well as drive the implementation and follow-up of national People & Culture policies and procedures, securing alignment with employment law compliance
• Contribute to the problem resolution and protection of IKEA as an employer and brand from potential threats by implementing and following a common way of managing employee relations issues on country level, delivering consistency and fairness in all our processes and actively performing an analysis of root causes
• Contribute with expertise to leadership development of Unit Management Teams in relation to co-worker relations behaviors and trust throughout the organization
• Identify, evaluate and monitor actual and potential labor issues evolving internally or externally that could create significant risks for IKEA.
• Drive the implementation of the I Share (internal climate analysis) process on country level, in collaboration relevant stakeholders.
• Secure and actively contribute to the implementation and follow up on the IKEA Employment standards and compliance in all units
