What you'll be doing day to day
You’ll help enhance the in-store customer experience by creating a strong visual impression in line with the IKEA Brand.
• Constructing, building, and preparing in-store media to secure range presentation and the IKEA visual identity.
• Reducing the environmental footprint by working consciously with resources and materials and maximizing opportunities to recycle and reuse materials.
• Staying up to date and knowledgeable about carpentry trends to increase quality and efficiency.

Retail environment, must have open availability Monday through Sunday 6am-4pm
The pay range for this role is $21.49- 30.63 and will be based on relevant work experience.
REQUIREMENTS :
3 years of carpentry-related experience
For Carpenter: there is painting, cutting boards and installing flooring. We use partition walls specific for IKEA’s use, so installation of those. Heavy lifting and lots of walking and ladder work – must be able to do.
Supporting with maintenance of the floor displays; safety is huge so making sure the installation of different architectural features and installation of needs for different displays is always top of mind. Must be able to work both in a team and individually.
The shifts are currently Monday- Friday, between from 6am-4pm There may be a need to support the store on a weekend about 10x weekend work per yr. or evenings during peak season or to support with the installation of large-scale projects. The possibility of overnights for projects is also possible but rare.

QUALIFICATIONS
3 years of carpentry-related experience
