Who you areThe Warehouse Manager we are looking for has:
- Proven leadership and success in building teams and motivating people;
- Potential or experience to lead people;
- Proven knowledge and working experience in a managerial function (preferably in warehouse operations and logistics);
- Proven knowledge of health and safety laws, standards and regulations related to warehouse activities;
- Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken;
- MS Office knowledge.
Your responsibilities
'- Responsible for the daily operation to strive for excellence;
- Responsible for overall warehouse goals settings, initiate local business plans/projects implementation and commitment to achieve excellence in running operations;
- Responsible for staff, shift and equipment planning based on the volume forecast;
- Responsible to increase efficiency of C/DC operations to reduce costs, improve productivity and work spirit with total supply chain;
- Secure that working processes are in compliance with the IKEA-rules and guidelines;
- Responsible to maintain a clean, organized and safe environment throughout the C/DC;
- Ensure adherence of all safety requirements and proper trainings across their function;
- Support and execute the ideas of "The Human Resources Idea".
