We are looking to welcome a customer-centric Warehouse Retail Team Manager to lead an amazing team.
You will be responsible for reaching excellence in the daily fulfilment operations, ensuring our Shop Floor is fully stocked with the right amount of products at the right time for our many customers.
This is an early morning role, with shifts starting at 04:00am.
WHAT WE OFFER
• The starting point for this role is £27,957 per annum based on competencies and experience. Additional nightshift allowance of £2.25 an hour between 04:00am and 06:00am.
• 39 hours weekly, working 5 days out of 7 and every second weekend off.
• Working hours are ordinarily between 04:00am in the morning to 12:00pm lunchtime.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• Proven experience in leading teams, ideally in a retail or logistics environment, with a track record of successful leadership that delivers both business results and personal development.
• Proven experience in setting priorities, delegating responsibility, and giving open and honest feedback.
• Business-minded approach with a clear customer focus and ability to meet agreed budgets and goals.
• Ability to implement structural way of working within the area of responsibility.
• Clear communication skills, inspiring, coaching and working with others. You work cross-functionally, and you are able to build relationships with other functions in-store.
• For this role, you must be 18 years old or over due to Health and Safety.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Lead the team to ensure that the shop floor has the right amount of products at the right time. You make things happen efficiently, as we require all stock on our shop floor by 10:00am in time for our customers.
• Take lead with recruiting, daily staff planning, retaining, and developing talent to secure a diverse, high-performing team that can execute responsibilities with confidence.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment throughout the department, ensuring that co-workers work in compliance with IKEA regulations and local legislation related to health, safety, security, and the environment.
• Ensuring the right amount of stock is located in the right place at the right time for our customers to purchase, and supporting your team to make this happen.
• Drive the implementation of business plans and projects.
