IKEA Belfast are looking to welcome Warehouse Operatives to join our hard-working fulfilment team.

Join our dynamic team at IKEA Belfast as a Warehouse Operative! You’ll play a crucial role in picking and preparing orders, handling deliveries, and ensuring smooth operations within our fulfilment unit. If you thrive in a lively environment and have a keen eye for accuracy, we’d love to have you on board


WHAT WE OFFER

• Start Date of employment will be: 5th October 2024
• Competitive hourly rate of £12 per hour.
• Various contracts ranging from 12- 30 hours per week, working 3-5 days per week and includes 3 out of 4 weekends. The hours operation for this area are from 6am - 8:30pm. We are looking for people with availability between 6am - 5pm specifically however there will still be the need to work at least 1 evening to 8:30pm

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential, all you will need is the motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
• Proven experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Be Self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Effectively perform the role in the assigned area of responsibility, which includes, manual handling of heavy stock, receiving and replenishing goods with accuracy, picking, packing and handing out collection orders to customers and keeping accurate records of stock levels.
• Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
