    What you'll be doing day to day
    We offer the following two internships:

    1) UX Internship - Customer Data Management

    We're looking for a User Experience student to join our data-oriented team.
    During this internship, you'll help us improve and explore new ways to gather customer information based on context and value exchange between IKEA and our customers, applying Digital Trust principles. You'll review our current approaches, participate in creating journey maps, and work with different team members to test concepts with customers. This work will help us create clear UX guidelines for how we collect customer information while maintaining transparency and building trust. This is a hands-on opportunity to apply your UX/Service Design skills in a real business environment.

    2) Design Internship - New Business & Expansion Design Team

    Join our team as a Design Intern and gain hands-on experience in a strategic, fast-paced environment! You'll create compelling visuals, support branding efforts, design engaging presentations, and collaborate with developers, engineers, and data analysts to bring ideas to life.

    Our ideal candidate has:
    • Strong skills in web and interaction design (Figma – preferred, Adobe Creative Suite etc.)
    • A strategic mindset with a passion for business growth
    • Ability to turn complex data into engaging visuals
    • Team player with great communication skills

    As a Design Intern, you'll get to work on real-world projects alongside industry experts, learn and grow in your field, and make a meaningful impact. You'll also enjoy a fun, supportive, and inspiring environment where your contributions truly matter

    Please read the following before applying:

    Send your CV and motivational letter in English by April 21st at the latest. We will run the process of matching interns and areas continuously, so please apply as soon as possible.

    We only accept students who live within commuting distance to the office in Amsterdam during the time of the internship, and who are connected to a university within the country. To participate in this internship, you must be enrolled in a relevant university program or educational course. Full-time is favoured, but a min. of 50% per week is acceptable. No exceptions will be made.

    Duration: Fall 2025. Start date: September 1st 2025.
