What you'll need to have

• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial position.
• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing and coordinating with external service providers.
• You have proven skills in developing people, providing support, coaching, training, and career direction to others.
• You have the ability to communicate confidently and clearly in the local language in the unit as well as basic English.
• You have experience in a facilities management organization, preferably in a high-volume retail sector.
• You have an academic degree or professional qualification in Facilities Management (or equivalent) (an asset).

What you'll be doing day to day

• Be responsible to make sure that each property is managed throughout its lifetime including safety, compliance, maintenance, and improvement to ensure a safe and operational environment for the business, co-workers, customers and other stakeholders
• Develop your team’s competence and performance, ensuring a succession plan in the unit
• Be responsible for all activities related to long term planning, budget estimation, execution, follow up, forecasting and reporting within the FM scope within the unit
• Implement and evaluate supplier contracts at unit level in alignment with internal governance structure for supplier contracts to improve efficiencies/costs/equipment and quality
• Manage relationships with Business owners within the unit to ensure business needs are met by collecting requirements, setting annual goals and periodic follow ups

The starting rate/salary for this position ranges from $ 66,200 to $ 82,800 and will be based on relevant work experience.
