My name is Leysan Bubon and I am the District Facility Management Manager at Ingka Real Estate. I am currently looking for a new colleague to join the team at the store in Uppsala. This role goes beyond the standard property management position since our unit needs some tender loving care and we want you who are ready to roll up your sleeves, take lead and drive change. You’ll be at the heart of our operations, driving improvements, finding creative solutions, and helping us navigate complexity of the tasks.
Our Wishlist
We know our internal candidates bring a wealth of experience, and that’s exactly what we need. Here’s what will set you up for success in this role:
• Proven Leadership: You’ve led teams before—both directly and indirectly—and know how to inspire, coach, and develop people
• Technical Know-How: You understand property maintenance, construction, or real estate and have the technical background to back it up
• Project Coordination Expertise: You’re skilled at organizing and leading projects, managing external suppliers, and staying on top of deadlines
• Strong Communication Skills: Whether it’s Swedish or English, you know how to connect with stakeholders, build relationships, and collaborate effectively
• Proactive Problem-Solving: You don’t wait for solutions to find you. You see opportunities, embrace change, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
As a key leader in our team, you will engage in continuous dialogue with various stakeholders, demonstrating your exceptional relationship-building skills and willingness to share your expertise. You are good at setting clear expectations and fostering a collaborative environment with respect. Your ability to prioritize and plan effectively under deadlines ensures that our team remains focused and productive. Most importantly, you share our values!
A DAY IN LIFE WITH US!
This role is all about impact. Here’s how you’ll contribute:
• Take ownership of our properties, ensuring they’re ready to meet today’s needs while planning for the future
• Be a true ambassador for Facility Management, delivering high-quality, cost-efficient, and sustainable services
• Own the property budget, combining strategic planning with real-time problem-solving
• Plan and coordinate projects like renovations and updates, working closely with both internal teams and external suppliers
• Ensure compliance by keeping tools, documents, and processes updated and efficient
• Lead with purpose—focusing on people, business, and sustainability, all while putting our customers first
