What you'll be doing day to day
As a Food Production Specialist, ensuring quality standards of the customer experience in the restaurants, you will:
Ensure that the retail elements are established to enhance the perception of quality for both customers and co-workers in the restaurant.
Effectively uses the appropriate processes and procedures to secure quality ingredients and food safety. Introduces vitality and reduces waste.
Ensure the customer experience and exceeds expectations of food availability, quality, and presentation.
Identify, nurture, and grow the skills of individuals in the department, enhancing the competence of the kitchen team.
Contribute to the unit business plan, the IKEA retail food business plan, and other action plans.
Contribute to the implementation of the global and national compliance standards to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers.
Secure that the kitchen equipment is maintained and in full working order.
Contribute to the implementation of global and national people and sustainability strategies.
Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

The hourly range for this role is $19.19- $27.29

QUALIFICATIONS
2 years related experience.
Experience in leading a high-volume catering business.
Experience in working with food safety management and documentation.
Experience in a customer facing environment.
