    【Requirements】
    *Diploma or higher from a specialized school, junior college, or university in interior design, architecture, or fine arts, OR equivalent work experience in a related field.
    *Proficiency in basic PC tasks (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and design tools such as AutoCAD, Vectorworks, or Revit.
    *Native-level Japanese skills (writing and speaking).
    *Must reside in Japan and have legal work authorization.

    *Passion for home furnishing, retail, design, and how people live at home and work.
    *Ability to conceptualize, visualize, and present ideas.
    *Enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment.

    【About work】
    IKEA for Business (BtoB) Interior Designer
    As a member of the Sales Department, you will leverage your interior design skills to work as a corporate sales representative.
    *Providing interior plans for business customers
    *Build long-term business relationships with corporate clients.
    *Analyze customer needs as a B2B interior planner.
    *Provide solutions that exceed customer expectations using IKEA products and interior design expertise, maximizing sales.
    *Lead project planning and execution in collaboration with relevant teams.
    *Facilitate workshops and seminars to share home furnishing knowledge with a broader audience.
    *Understand IKEA’s vision, culture, direction, products, and services to provide the best proposals and sales to customers, maximizing revenue.

    【About Team】
    You will be part of the IKEA for Business (B2B) Selling Team within the Sales Department.
    This team consists of around 10 members, divided into two sub-teams: Interior Planning and Corporate Sales Support.
    Additionally, we work closely with IKEA Tachikawa to ensure seamless collaboration.

    【Work Location】
    Primary workplace: IKEA Tachikawa
    *Possible commuting and business trips to all stores and shops within the Kanto region.

    【Working Hours】
    Shift-based schedule between 9:00 and 21:00
    *May vary depending on direct site visits, events, and meetings
    *Weekend and holiday shifts required
    About this work area
    【Employment Status】
    - Part-Time Contract 25-38 hours/week (covered social insurance)
    - Probation period: 6 months
    - Start date is the first day of every month (consult with us about your start date)
    - Retirement age: 65 years old

    【Hourly wage】
    1600 yen
