Job description

• You will support the SFM & Bistro TL & Manager in the administration and operation of the Swedish Food Market and Swedish Bistro
• You ensure efficient operations of your section with special attention to the preparation and serving of food that enhance visitor experience.
• You look into customers’ concern in our food and services and provide solutions and corrective actions of necessary.
• Assist SFM & Bistro TL & Manager on goods supply forecast, stock controls and ensure proper cash handling procedures in accordance to the IKEA Safety & Security Risk Manual.
• Constantly follow up on the quality and food safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment for co-workers/ customers in accordance with all local health and safety regulations, operational and HACCP standards.
• You must check, verify and confirm the receipt of goods and to ensure quantity received matches the quantity invoiced by the supplier /prices invoiced by suppliers matches prices in our Purchase Orders.
• To ensure goods received from suppliers are stored in a First Expire First Out (FEFO) manner with date of delivery indicated on the package and supplier invoices and/or delivery orders are in place upon delivery of goods.
• You will need to co-ordinate with Team leader, managers & admin staff in resolving issues related to delivery of goods including quantity, pricing and quality.
• You support cost control by assist in materials requisitions, purchases and prepare reports for resource forecast and inventory management.


Qualification

• You have at least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced and high-volume Bistro, with a proven
leadership abilities and commercial acumen in ensuring cost and resource management.

• You possess decision-making and problem-solving abilities with the drive to make things
happen.
• You have a strong sense of ownership and team spirit, willing to be cross-trained to support
the smooth operation of the IKEA Food Department within the section of Swedish
Restaurant, Co-worker Restaurant and Kitchen.
• You can create an environment where the IKEA values are a strong and living reality and is
able to motivate, develop and bring out the best in co-workers.
