Who you are

You have a strong interest, experience and knowledge of operational risk management and internal control cycle, framework and practices, including extensive knowledge of how to assess and mitigate risks and design internal controls within digital area in a multinational environment. Designing digital framework and processes with integrated risk management and internal controls is something you have done before. We believe that you are experienced in internal control design, implementation, and performance assessment with ability to evaluate operational effectiveness.
You have a strong understanding for Ingka´s corporate identity, business, processes, organisation, and system landscape.

To succeed as a Digital Internal Control Specialist, you will need:

• Formal qualifications (e.g. CISA, CDPSE) and/or proven knowledge in internal control and/or process design, implementation and monitoring
• Minimum 5 years experience in the field of digital internal controls, audit or regulatory compliance, preferably in a multinational organisation
• To have an understanding of complex system landscape and different control areas (e.g., security, system, application, architecture)
• Good business knowledge and working experience in the areas of process improvements as well as strong stakeholder management skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills, proficiency in English.

Your responsibilities

As an Digital Internal Control Specialist you will ensure that digital risks are managed by efficient internal controls and business is conducted in a risk aware and compliant way throughout Ingka Group.

Amongst many tasks you will:

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve integrated digital Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Control framework to support process design and entity level controls throughout the organisation
• Provide oversight and quality control of Risk & Control worksheets integrated in process modelling in the Ingka businesses, Group functions and countries
• Provide our businesses, Group functions and countries with advisory service on Internal controls design, implementation, monitoring & reporting
• Monitor periodic Internal controls performance assessment and secure timely response to gaps / control improvements
• Advise on the required processes and ensure awareness, application and compliance with Internal Control Steering documents
• Work closely with digital colleagues.

This position is placed in Malmö, Sweden (Amshult office could be an alternative) and will report to the Internal Control Manager.
