- Engaging market partners and subject matter experts to enrich the growth development process, ensuring innovative solutions meet market demands and are scalable across different regions.
- Contributing to the development of robust business models, including revenue generation strategies, operational efficiencies, and partnership frameworks tailored to each market’s needs and regulations.
- Ensuring readiness and commercial & operational deployment capabilities for expansion into new countries, including localization efforts, regulatory compliance, and strategic partnerships to facilitate smooth market entries.
- Providing leadership in change management, guiding teams through the adoption of agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices to optimize marketplace performance and user satisfaction.

As part of Group Strategy, Development and Innovation (SD&I), the New Platform Business team is leading the creation, development and innovation of new services, viable business, business models, work models and innovative solutions to secure that Ingka and IKEA are in the forefront to meet the future challenges and opportunities. We are now testing different marketplaces – secondhand selling & buying peer-to-peer services in Spain & Norway, home moving & setup services the UK and Home improvement services in Spain. This is only the beginning.

Our way of working is built on inclusion and collaboration with internal subject matter experts, IKEA markets and external partners across the entire value chain.
