Who you are

As the Project Leader at IKEA Korea Service Office, you will lead the implementation and launch of the new loyalty solution “Rewards from IKEA Family” for the Korean market. Many various stakeholders are involved, and you will need to coordinate and collaborate with many various functions within IKEA. You will work closely with global digital and Market Support team, utilize their guides and competences and adapt to the Korean market. You will also be using your marketing sense to give input on how the contents of the Rewards program, so that it will be a big attracting point to join the IKEA Loyalty program.

• You are a good project manager, with experience in coordinating different stakeholders.
• You have very good understanding of the Korean customer and their expectations on a retail brand’s loyalty program.
• You can put demands and follow-up with stakeholders.
• You have strong communication skills, used to present tasks and influence stakeholders, and can deliver clear, focused and easily understandable messages.
• You have worked with processes, and capable creating documents based on frameworks.
• You have experience with marketing communication channels, Family benefits and member behavior.
• You are self-reliant and driven, with the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• You are well aware of store operations, RCMP remote and eCommerce sales, co-worker needs, demands and expectations on the markets.

A day in your life with us

In this role your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Ensure that actions are clear and understood by stakeholders, and that they deliver outcomes on time
• Lead meetings and delegate tasks to relevant stakeholders.
• Set up network of points of contact in all Korea units and RCMP, and engage them to support in launching of Rewards.
• Coordinate and execute work packages, according to global guidelines, engaging all stakeholders to contribute with their expertise.
• Inform, train and manage change for all co-workers, and prepare them to work with Rewards in their daily operations.
• Work within the Marketing team to drive the launch campaign and commercial activities at all CMP to make a significant commercial impact.
• Ensure that the Rewards concept’s Look and Feel is implemented in the market across all channels, properly translated into Korean.
• Work with the global Change Management Lead to plan the key milestones and ensure deadlines are met.
• Ensure that all key stakeholders are kept informed and have the opportunity to give input on key decisions at a country level.
• Be responsible for collecting and documenting learnings to feedback to the global launch team.

Customer Engagement and Loyalty (CE&L) team within SO Marketing plays a fundamental role in the bigger Commercial team in creating meaningful relationships between IKEA and our customers. We aim to convert our customers into members, and to attract them for repeated visitation and purchases across all channels. We attract our members by rewarding them for their loyalty and customer data that they consent to us, and use this data to continuously improve the IKEA offering.

In this role you will report to the Customer Engagement & Loyalty Manager and the role is located in Gwangmyeong, South Korea.
