Who you are
• Minimum 2 years experience from working in import industry or Customs brokerage.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Good ability to read, follow, document, and communicate clearly manuals and working methods. High level of communication (verbal and written) in English.
• Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools at an intermediate level.
Your responsibilities
• Responsible to secure compliance in every customs declaration and to identify and investigate and act to resolve inaccuracies and deviations.
• Responsible for handling of information and documents to or from other IKEA units, external service providers and authorities to ensure timely, accurate and compliant in bond, declaration/entry and release from authorities for imports and exports.
• Responsible to maintain master data for filing relevant declarations with appropriate authorities and to update standard operating procedures for assigned tasks.
• Secure customs relevant data and documents are available on time to secure timely release of imports and exports. Secure they are properly distributed, filed and archived according to import and export requirements, including issuance and maintenance of certificates of origin, free trade agreement (FTA) documents, exporter certificates, licenses, attestations, etc..
• Responsible for IMS importation overall including document validation, HS Code review, necessary quarantine & Certification readiness check, FTA application to release the container in time at the lowest cost.
• Analyse and propose the solution to customs system or tool, to meet new and running business needs.
• Support after customs clearance operation to keep smooth transfer from port/bonded warehouse to ultimate consignee. Taking care of overall logistic situation and back up Transport booking in case of absent.

This position will report to Customs Manager and working located in Gwangmyoung at Service Office. Please note that our selection process may close once we find the right candidate, so don't delay in applying!
