In the Product Quality & Recovery department we deliver sustainable, extraordinary growth. We do this by creating a new, unique, inspiring and convenient meetings with our customers and giving IKEA products a second live.

In the position of Product Recovery Operations Specialist you drive extraordinary growth by optimizing the IKEA shopping experience. You collaborate across functions to prevent the occurrence of unnecessary costs related to IKEA products. Giving products a second chance while keeping the financial results, quality, safety, and sustainability impact in mind.

A day in your life with us

Contribute as a subject matter expert & site superuser in recovery operations. In that role you ensure the optimization of the product recovery processes, tools, and ways of working in the unit. You follow up on performance and use proven solutions and good examples to identify operational improvement opportunities. Responsible for implementing & training unit co-workers in processes, tools and ways of working related to recovery operations.

What else you will do: 
• Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance through product repackaging, spare part management, product assembly and active selling (online & offline).
• Understand the unit and department action plans and take responsibility for department goals and know how you contribute.
• Support the implementation of planned circular & commercial activities by involving your department throughout the customer meeting point.
•Support the Product Quality & Recovery Manager by indirectly leading the team together with the other specialists, by assigning tasks and supervising the daily operations of the Product Quality & Recovery team when required

What else you need: 
• Excellent knowledge of Recovery & Quality Operations along with customer experience, selling and buying processes
• Good Understanding of communication channels and how to tailor communication effectively to create awareness, engagement, and impact
• Extensive knowledge of using IT systems and other tools in daily work duties.
• Good Knowledge and expertise on Recovery Tools and Equipment and their integration into the Recovery department

• A 13th month and 8% holiday pay. These will be paid out in December and May as standard, but you can also choose to receive them monthly.
• A collective bonus scheme. This is determined annually and amounts to a maximum of 150% of your gross monthly salary.
• Travel expenses for public transport are reimbursed 100%. Do you live within a radius of 5 to 20 km from the IKEA store? Then you can also opt for a lease bicycle. Are you traveling by car? Then you will receive a travel allowance up to a maximum of 200 euros per month.
• 15% employee discount at all IKEA stores in the Netherlands.
• Various arrangements that suit your personal situation. Think of transition leave and equal (100% paid) birth leave regardless of the composition of your family. You may also exchange the public holidays applicable in the Netherlands with non-Christian holidays. And every store has a quiet/prayer room.
