    To excel in this role we believe you have minimum 5-8 years of experience in Marketing and delivering results, as well as minimum 3 years of experience managing complex paid media budgets. You have experience in close collaboration with marketing communications, as well as in measuring performance (business and people). With deep expertise in Paid Media, you understand media procurement, budgeting, and integration of Paid, Owned, and Earned media. You are skilled in marketing technology, omnichannel business and consumer trends, with the ability to translate insights into impactful actions. Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to effectively collaborate and influence agendas across commercial function.

    Furthermore, you can take a holistic view of a global organisation and identify business opportunities accordingly. You are able to lead by implementing actions and measuring performance, as well as capturing learnings to improve planning in the future.
    While our working language is English, we value fluency in Finnish to enable the most effective collaboration between marketing communication and media planning.
    Your responsibilities
    In the role as Country Integrated Media Leader, you are responsible for developing and executing omnichannel integrated media strategy, maximising marketing ROI. You are also responsible for identifying audiences and media solutions/local content needs to provide effective and efficient country marketing plans. As part of the Integrated Media scope, IKEA Finland’s SEO Specialist will report to you.


    You will:

    ✔ Act as a member of the Marketing team and proactively contribute to marketing plan/output to deliver to the common objectives and goals

    ✔ Be responsible for development and implementation of Integrated Media plan across paid, earned and owned media, on and offline, and providing sufficient content needs to local media agencies to ensure locally adapted marketing

    ✔ Be responsible for budget management, finalizing and negotiating all paid advertising contract terms such as rates, placement, frequency etc. to maximize return on investment, and ensuring cost transparency be leading a comprehensive contracting and invoicing process

    ✔ Co-operate with Marketing Performance Leader with Media Performance analysis, including media auditing, cost-efficiency analysis, monitoring and reporting on cost-benefit ratio

    ✔ Actively co-operate with all key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to secure integration, common focus and maximized impact

    ✔ Contribute to the integrated multichannel executions/output of the function to contribute to the business goals

    ✔ Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate, and be a role model of the IKEA values.

    ✔ Support all initiatives within and outside commercial included in the agreed communication plan


    In this role you will report to the Country Marketing Manager. This role is permanent and located in Service office, Espoo.
