    Are you passionate about turning consumer, home furnishing and retail trends into impactful marketing content and solutions? You might be the right person to join our team as a Content Specialist, with responsibility in driving development of marketing communication!

    For this role we believe you already have experience and knowledge of the Marketing creative and production process across paid and owned channels. You are familiar to or passionate to learn the IKEA tone of voice and brand guidelines. We value your good knowledge of digital and social media marketing.

    To succeed in this role, we expect native level fluency in Finnish and full professional proficiency in the English language. In addition, you have good interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships. Managing multiple stakeholders and attention to detail are key elements to succeed in this role and project coordination is close to your heart.

    Your responsibilities

    In the role of Content Specialist, you are responsible for coordinating and producing external marketing communications content, drive and execute different social media content production processes and other marketing related projects in order to strengthen the IKEA brand as well as increase online & offline visits, engagement and conversions.

    You execute marketing communication activities, adapting global content locally and ensuring consistency in messaging, tone and brand identity. You will ensure our marketing communication content and messages are of high quality and relevant, strengthening the IKEA brand as well as increasing visitation, penetration and engagement. In this role, you will take a strong role in driving IKEA Finland’s organic social media solutions from planning to implementation and reporting.


    You will:

    ✅ Act as a member of the Marketing team and proactively contribute to marketing plans in order to deliver to common goals 

    ✅ Review, localize, coordinate and develop marketing communication content for different IKEA channels, with focus on organic social media.

    ✅ Project lead local campaigns and content including creative briefing, creative review and production, managing budgets and timelines, agency management and campaign follow up

    ✅ Be responsible for effectively adapting global content locally

    ✅ Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate, acting as a role model of the IKEA values.


    In this role you will report to the Marketing Communications Manager. The role is located at IKEA’s Service Office, Espoontie 21.

    This is a full-time & temporary contract covering for a parental leave until November 2026. Start date in the role can be agreed upon, but we prefer to get started soon, before Christmas.
