    This internship is part of the SCCJ × MIRAI Internship Program (https://www.mirai.nu/) and is exclusively open to master’s students enrolled at Swedish partner universities. General applications will not be accepted.

    Eligibility: Only master’s students enrolled at one of the following universities can apply:
    - Umeå University
    - Uppsala University
    - Örebro University
    - Linnaeus University
    - Jönköping University
    - Karlstad University
    - Luleå University of Technology
    - University of Gothenburg
    (Linköping University participation is to be confirmed.)


    - Knowledge of relevant sustainability subject matters within the specific topic/market area, with the desire to develop deeper knowledge
    - Relationship building - Develops virtual and other collaborative relationships to facilitate current and future objectives
    - Flexibility- Changes direction as appropriate based on new ideas, approaches, and strategies
    - Communication skills
    - Language skills – English is a must and Japanese is a very good advantage


    Major in one of following faculties:
    - Sustainability / Environment
    - Business Administration
    - Business Management

    Country Sustainability secures the integration and implementation of the Ingka Sustainability Strategy by both putting demands on business and being a competent sustainability business partner, while securing localised relevance. The voice and influences of sustainability both internally and externally, sitting close to the business where decisions are made.
    As Sustainability Business Partner (Trainee), you will enable the transformation and growth of the IKEA business by being a business partner and within applicable areas of the organisation to secure and future proof a sustainable Ingka. The Sustainability Business Partner will contribute and support others in the consistent and effective execution of the Ingka Sustainability Strategy.


    - You will be working on a topic from IKEA’s sustainability three strategic focuses and lead a small scale project by getting support from Country Sustainability Manager
    - You will work closely with colleagues from different functions
    - You will work with stakeholders proactively


    - Four days a week from Monday to Thursday
    - From 9:00 to 16:00
    - Mainly work at IKEA Japan Service Office, located on the 5th floor of IKEA Tokyo-Bay (Address: 2-3-30 Hama-cho, Funabashi-shi, Chiba, Japan)
