    Additional Information
    • These roles are Permanent, Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight.
    • $30.75 base hourly pay rate
    • This role requires availability to work 8:30am to 6:00pm weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
    • You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday consecutively).

    About this work area

    As a Commercial Coordinator your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • Support and coach co-workers within the team to maximise sales and provide a positive customer experience.
    • Supervise and coordinate the daily operation of the team and provide feedback on team performance to the Planning Studio Manager.
    • Solve daily operational problems and react appropriately to urgent issues, escalating where necessary.
    • Share specialist knowledge about the product range, services and tools to secure a high level of competence within the team whilst demonstrating a willingness to take on additional responsibility in this area.
    • Create a high level of team knowledge about the product features and benefits and encourage the team to promote complete home furnishing solutions to the customer.
    • Encourage the team to actively sales steer the department’s top-selling products, prioritised products and IKEA service products in order to maximise sales and long-term profitability.
    • Optimise the relationship with customers to drive sales growth and sustained long-term profitability by knowing the IKEA product range and services and actively work to offer alternative solutions that meet the needs of individual customers. Coach the team to do the same.
    • Imparting knowledge of the entire online ordering process to the team, offering a seamless and convenient pick-up experience.



    As a Sales Coordinator you are:
    • Passionate about people’s everyday life at home and home furnishing.
    • Able to able to optimise sales through thorough knowledge of the IKEA product range, local market, and customers.
    • Adaptable and energetic, with strong verbal and written communication skills for successful stakeholder management.
    • Friendly and comfortable with connecting and interacting with people and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Comfortable with coordinating your team, setting priorities and delegating responsibility.
    • Able to deliver exceptional customer service and foster an inclusive and positive co-worker experience.
    • Looking to develop and grow within the business.
