    • Minimum five years of experience in Marketing Communications.
    • Broad understanding of retail marketing, creative and production processes, marketing technology and media channels.
    • Experience in working with operational plans, setting goals and following up on KPIs.
    • Solid knowledge of change management methods and stakeholder management.
    • Strong creative writing and editing skills, with an ability to shape clear and simple communication.
    • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work with speed and focus.
    • Habit of following up on results, capturing learnings and applying improvements.
    • Curiosity for new ways of engaging audiences and bringing stories to life.
    • Experience in developing full 360° campaigns, including agency briefings and evaluation of creative assets.
    • Strong written and spoken English skills.

    What you'll be doing day to day

    About the job:
    To execute marketing communication activities by adapting global content to the local market, while ensuring consistency in messaging, tone and brand identity.

    About the assignment:
    • Act as an active member of the Marketing team, contributing to the marketing plan and overall output to support shared objectives.
    • Ensure consistency in messaging, tone of voice and brand identity across all marketing communication.
    • Adapt global content effectively for the local market.
    • Lead local campaigns and content when needed, including creative briefing, creative review and production, as well as budget, timeline, agency and follow-up management.
    • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across commercial and beyond to secure integration, alignment and maximum impact.
    • Contribute to integrated multichannel execution that supports overall business goals.
    • Help build an open, sharing and value-led culture by role-modelling IKEA values and supporting the ongoing transformation.
    • Support initiatives within and beyond commercial that are part of the communication plan (e.g. promoting home solar).

    This position is a fixed-term contract – we’re looking for someone to jump in while a team member is on maternity leave.
