We have an opportunity with us for a Product Owner in the Total Rewards sub-domain, focused on Payroll, with additional exposure in other areas of Total Rewards. The Product Owner leads solutions in the product areas assigned, working closely with business, engineering and other digital stakeholders throughout all phases of the needs assessment, solution identification, requirements gathering, and application development lifecycle. He/She shall be working on projects, demands, consulting with users/ clients about designing and implementing sustainable solutions; setting the vision, strategy and metrics for one or several smaller products; planning, organizing the assigned product(s) and managing dependencies; managing time, cost, scope, risk, communication, quality and change for the assigned product(s); and leading and empowering team(s) to deliver maximum value to the user with measurable impact while building trust across IKEA.

We Prefer

A minimum 15 years of sound product and subject matter experience in Payroll with additional exposure in Total Rewards areas and HR
Systems.

Experience handling Business Stakeholders as a Subject Matter Expert in the product area, capable of identifying and understanding requirements and solutions, interpreting requirements into secure, sustainable and scalable technical solutions.

Drive end to end solutions, involving process support teams in GBO, aligning for all process and governance needs.

Experience in transformation projects, leading for payroll and core compensation solutions.

Strong technical aptitude and experience in HR Technology ecosystems.

Project Management experience in an agile environment.

Some experience in delivering technical design documents, systems security and privacy assessments.

Experience working in a global environment/ deployment, global processes, with remote teams.

Primary Product Experience in Payroll (via product ownership, payroll transformation or operations/ managed services – ADP-GV (must have), SAP/ SF EC Payroll or other payroll solutions (good to have)

Additional HR Transformation/ Product Exposure in Total Rewards, HR Systems – Success Factors/ SAP

You will be working from Bengaluru, India, with remote teams based in our hubs in Malmo & Helsingborg, Sweden

Key Responsibilities:

Set a tangible product strategy for the assigned product(s) and ensure that the delivery of outcomes meets objectives and customer needs.

Continually benchmark against industry standards in order to meet customer needs and ensure that assigned product team(s) understand and drive towards meeting them.

Actively research customer needs and apply the resulting insights.

Align with cross-functional teams within the domain to ensure maximum impact.

Demonstrate strong product development practices in the daily interactions to enable high performing team(s)

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Payroll to continually enhance the product roadmap.

Be open to different perspectives being heard and balanced to meet business objectives, collaborating within and outside of the team(s) to ensure togetherness and strong partnership with key stakeholders.

Communicate the product strategy and vision for the product(s) to ensure the team(s) is driving the product(s) in the strategic direction.

Demonstrate a data informed approach to deliver successful outcomes for customers.

Define OKR´s for one or several products together with the team(s) and key stakeholders to ensure team(s) are aligned and tracking towards the same goals.

Guide and support one or several teams to ensure individuals and team(s) are performing to the best of their ability.

Document learnings, adopting a continuous improvement approach and transferring learnings to the team(s).
