Our strength is our 400+ talented co-workers: strategists, channel experts, developers, photographers, motion media producers, 3D artists, graphic designers, copywriters, interior designers, and many more competences. The core of our offer is the so-called Common content that is made available to all IKEA retailers. On top of that, we offer additional packages and on-request support to meet the varying needs of the markets. We also develop the common marketing agenda for IKEA, leading in marketing & communication topics and contributing to our business strategies. 

IKEA Marketing & Communication Strategy & Plan spearheads the IKEA marketing and communication agenda creating growth, nurturing the IKEA brand over time, and inspires even more of the many people to create a better life at home. 

We are now looking for Omnichannel Experience Leaders with experience in UX research, Search Engine Optimization and data & analytics to secure we optimize the communication we deliver based on understanding the consumer needs and omnichannel landscape. 

Job Description 

As Omnichannel Experience Leader you will:  

  • Define and lead the strategic omnichannel marketing and communication agenda in cooperation with other leaders 

  • Identify channel and consumer experience trends and ensure that omnichannel content development is driven by actionable insights 

  • Be responsible for defining and feeding in relevant omnichannel experience input to IMC assignments and development initiatives 

  • Establish new ways of working for impactful and cost-efficient management of omnichannel experience input 

  • Lead or co-lead omnichannel development and testing initiatives together with internal and external stakeholders and channel/platform owners  

  • Manage the roadmap and stakeholders in your leadership area 

  • Act as a role model regarding IKEA Culture, values and code of conduct

You have an interest in life at home and home furnishing and feel passionate about understanding behaviour, people, and the future as well as energy to learn and develop every day.  

You have senior experience in developing and implementing global marketing and communication initiatives for large businesses and brands. You have extensive strategic understanding of the IKEA Concept and value chain (Retail, Range and Supply).            
You lead with a visionary and inspirational approach and are skilled in communication and change management. You have a strong ability to build trust and strong working relationships across a wide diversity of people on all levels in the organization and you can conceptualize complex issues to generate buy-in and drive decisions and consensus.
