Range, Supply and Franchise, in areas where it benefits IKEA and the IKEA customer, we work assignment based to develop, source, pack and supply furniture components, furniture materials, IKEA retail equipment products and packaging and handling materials. IKEA Components also have the responsibility to provide After Sales service of components to the IKEA end customers. Our business is global and today employs 1400 people based in around 30 IKEA sites. Majority of co-workers sits in Sweden, Slovakia, and China – where we also have our operations units

Good news! We have an exciting opportunity as we are searching for a Global Operations Manager – where you have the overall responsibility for the IKEA Components operations. The responsibility overarch the Production & Distribution (P&D) units (Malacky/Slovakia & Nantong/China), After Sales (Älmhult/Sweden) and the Supply chain operations.

In the role as Global Operation manager, you are expected to lead the strategic development of all our operations in accordance with IKEA Components business plan and goals. It is important to take on the role with the mindset to constantly develop and maintain high precision in our performance of packing and supplying goods to the many different IKEA Components customers. All work should of course be executed in alignment with the IKEA ways of working connected to quality and sustainability, and of course with people in focus.  

You will be in lead of the IKEA Components Global operations management team, consisting of the P&D units Managing directors, Supply Chain manager and more leading roles. Together you will plan and execute the Global operations agenda for IKEA Components, which should be characterized by high performance and constant development. From a team perspective we see openness, inclusion, and willingness to cooperate across IKEA Components as a key enabler.

In the assignment you will also be a member of IKEA Components Global Management team and by that represent and take responsibility for IKEA Components totality.
