We are now looking for an Art Director to IMC IKEA Marketing & Communication Team in Älmhult.
This assignment is all about bringing together creativity, storytelling, and technology to create outstanding communication that consistently engages our target audiences and helps IKEA achieve its business goals while building on our strong brand identity.
It's about sparking interest in home furnishing, building a strong brand position, and increasing visitation.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and research the assignment while working closely in a creative team that includes other competences like creative directors, copywriters, interior designers, graphic designers, photographers, 3D artists, and others.
Within your assignment you will also:
Explore possibilities/limitations to reach relevant target audiences in all media and platforms (web, social media, motion, printed publications, store, exhibition & events etc.)
You excel at turning strategies into creative concepts. Collaborating at all levels of an organization, you confidently present and pitch your ideas while working closely with internal partners. Your listening skills are top-notch, and you're always open to exploring new approaches. No assignment is too big or too small for you to tackle.
As a strategic thinker, you're self-motivated, adaptable, bold and passionate about communication and collaboration. You fearlessly bring innovative ideas to the table, constantly asking "what if?". You understand the importance of a strong and consistent brand experience. You prioritize deadlines but are always ready to lend a helping hand.
Your curiosity knows no bounds, and you're passionate about understanding people's lives at home and have an interest in home furnishing. You’re driven by growth, learning, and sharing knowledge. Being constantly in tune with the latest design, retail, and digital trends, you have a deep interest in consumer behavior and the ever-changing social and cultural landscape.
You also need to have:
Experience in working with a diverse range of media and channels, including digital platforms, integrated campaigns, and social media.
Experience in several production methods including studio production, computer-generated imagery (CG), 3D animation, and motion media.
