Job description
Generalist Part
- Monitor legal requirements which are related to our business, and proactively interpretate the legal requirement from Inter IKEA business perspective, advise business teams or other functions for implementation.
- Overall responsible for daily legal affairs for dedicated Scope, including but not limited in consultancy, contracts, advise, tackle legal dispute and issues.
- Draft, review and maintain legal documents, contract templates and other necessary legal materials.
- Plan and deliver legal training of legal compliance & relevant requirements.
- Provide ad-hoc legal support to business projects and collaborate with global legal colleagues and other key stakeholders.
- Leading internal process for legal cases through arbitration or litigation.
- Support China Legal & Governance team to handle other ad-hoc legal affairs.
Specialist Part
- Dedicated on manufacturing companies (home furniture & components plants)
- Focus on sustainability (ESG) legislation area.
Qualification
- Solid knowledge of Chinese laws in civil & commercial areas. It’s necessary having practical experience in company law, contract law, litigation and/or arbitration, employment issues, and product quality.
- Having knowledge and experience in sustainability (ESG) areas shall be preferred.
