• Formal qualifications in Marketing or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing, including experience of 360 Marketing & Communication Campaigns and delivering results
• Strong experience in the creative process of campaigns – on company or agency side
• Experience of taking insights from data to inform and develop marketing communications strategy and clear directions
• Experience in project leading (planning, time and budget management, driving output and measuring business performance)
• Ability to communicate cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders to deliver to common goals and objectives
• Passion for IKEA as a brand and its vision
• Currently resident in Japan
• Business level English, Native level Japanese

Preferred
• Experience from retail, preferably home furnishing sector

A day in your life with us

• Act as a member of the Marketing team and proactively contribute to marketing plan/output in order to deliver to the common objectives and goals
• Responsible for executing the consistency of messages, tone of voice and brand identity in marketing communication
• Responsible for effectively adapting global content locally
• Project lead local campaigns and content where necessary including creative briefing, creative review and production, managing budgets and timelines, agency management and campaign follow up
• Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to secure integration, common focus and maximize impact
• Contribute to the integrated multichannel executions/output of the function in order to contribute to the business goals
• Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate, be a role model of the IKEA values, and contribute to the transformation of IKEA

Our head office is on the 5th floor of the Tokyo-Bay store. The style of working is hybrid; we are welcomed to work in the office 2-3 times a week and work from home the remainder. - Full-time regular employee- 40 hours per week contract
