• You are as cool as a cucumber under pressure, and can take charge of an urgent situation, even if it means to quickly go get your Manager for help
• You are totally cool working in a physically demanding, fast-paced, work environment
• You are 18 years old or greater (IKEA safety requirement)

What you'll be doing day to day

• May be assigned to Information desk at the front to assist customers with general inquiries
• Ensure a positive shopping experience by greeting visitors, being visible and available always and managing first contact resolution
• Responsible for registering, assisting and supervising registered children
• Ensure the environment is playful and fun
• Communicate with parents if there is an issue or concern
• Always actively participating in the children’s safety and security
• Advise all children of the Smaland rules and policies while their parents are present and ensure parents are aware of all Smaland policies and rules
• Maintain supplies and ensure work area is kept clean and hazard-free
• Assist in other duties as required by direct line Leader

The starting rate/salary for this position is $19.06
