WHO YOU ARE

1. Result-driven with a strong sense of ownership.
2. Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering with experience in machine learning and pattern recognition.
3. Over 5 years of experience in algorithm development and optimization in search, recommendation, or advertising systems.
4. Solid theoretical foundation in machine learning and NLP; strong in mathematics and statistics.
5. Familiar with common NLP technologies such as QU, NER, and PTMs.
6. Proficient in at least one deep learning framework, such as TensorFlow or Pytorch.
7. Familiar with Linux systems and proficient in at least one programming language among Java, C++, or Python.
8. Good English skills for reading and writing documents, CET-4 or TOIEC>700.
9. Experience working in agile teams.

Plus Criteria
1. Passionate about IKEA brand, culture, and products.
2. Fluent in spoken English.
3. Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
4. Awarded in related Kaggle competitions.
5. Authored papers accepted by top conferences/journals.
6. Experience in multi-country and multi-language business environments.
7. Practical experience in productizing search, recommendation, or advertising systems.
8. Excellent publication record in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or numerical optimization fields.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Continuously optimize the search experience for IKEA Omni-Channel.
2. Explore the ever-evolving industry standards to help IKEA business and products grow and prosper.
3. Collaborate across functions with Architecture, DevOps, QA, and Product Managers to
deliver quality results.
4. Optimize algorithm models and strategies for IKEA e-commerce search scenarios,
including Query understanding, recall, ranking, CTR/CVR models, and search relevance.
5. Enhance various business metrics for IKEA e-commerce search scenarios, including search GMV, search click-through rate, search experience, and user growth.
6. Improve cross-border e-commerce search relevance in multi-country and multilanguage environments.
7. Optimize e-commerce search diversion scenarios, including bottom words, drop-down
recommendations, and related search Query recommendation scenarios.
