  • IKEA Gateshead are looking to welcome Fulfilment Operations coordinator Nightshift.


    WHAT WE OFFER

    •The Start Date of employment will be the 1st of February.
    •Starting salary of £30,000 per annum, based on competence and experience.
    •Additional nightshift allowance equivalent to £2.25 per hour.
    •39 Hours working 5 days per week including weekend working. Available 21:30PM – 10:00AM.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    •Previous experience coordinating a team in a warehouse environment, with the motivation to manage tasks confidently in a demanding environment.
    •Ability to priorities and organise yours and others workloads swiftly and with attention to detail.
    •Experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
    •Experience in planning and improving daily operations.
    •Confident and clear communication in English both written and verbal.


    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    •Effectively perform the role in the assigned area of responsibility in both store and external warehouse. This includes manual handling of heavy stock, unloading, loading and replenishment of goods/orders within the agreed time with the customer in focus. Picking and packing orders for customers and keeping accurate records of stock levels.
    •Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
    •Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
    •Responsible for the achievement of the goals determined by the Fulfilment Operations Manager or Team Leader, to support overall fulfilment operations goals and achieve excellence in running operations.
    •Supervise the daily operations and assign areas of responsibility for the team, identifying and acting on improvement potentials and ensuring that daily routines are followed.
