WHO YOU ARE
As Product Engineering Manager you will provide strategic and people leadership managing the sub domain team, and driving the defined strategy within Ingka.
The Product Engineering Manager takes the initiative & leverages their Functional and Delivery knowledge in creating, leading and embedding technology, process, operating models in order to enable and unlock business value for Ingka.
You will build the needed partnerships within Group Digital and with the business stakeholders to understand the business and technology challenges and collaborate to create and deliver holistic strategy which unlocks/enables business value.
We Prefer:
• 15+ years of experience in delivering solutions for Planning and analytics
• Experience in working CXO and CXO-1 layer in transformations
• Track record of portfolio rationalization and modernization in planning area
• Strong knowledge of SAP Suite of planning and Analytics (e.g. SAC, IBP), data sphere and BI/BW. Track record of working as an Architect and delivering impactful results is a plus. Knowledge of SAP GRC or similar is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Planning as a process with focus on financial planning & analytics (FP&A).
• Extensive knowledge of software and/or system engineering from ground up, e.g. you will need to lead by example, practices including TDD, test automation, DevOps, code versioning, with knowledge and experience of using industry standard toolsets.
• Experience in reviewing and evaluating vendor solutions.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of design and architecture concepts (i.e. microservices), relevant cloud services (GCP, Azure) and ability to apply knowledge within the development cycle.
• Understand the needs of the service management and operations phase, including L2/L3 support, incident and problem management.
• Good knowledge of the IKEA Concept, brand identity and IKEA Culture & values.
• Deep understanding of technologies and best practices within modern retail or similar industries.

• Demonstrates a in depth understanding of Retail areas, specifically on Planning with functional area Finance and Procurement.
• Demonstrating an in depth understanding of the sub domain functional areas in the context of the relevant technologies/platforms.
• Must have an expert understanding of the functional area in the context of the overall business processes and validate/challenge and build conceptual designs, identify dependencies across functional and technology areas, among others.
• Staying abreast of the latest developments and trends in relevant technologies and in the functional area to ensure the subdomain remains innovative and competitive while delivering business value.
• Collaborating with technical experts and architects to make informed decisions on system configurations and enhancements.
• Assessing and mitigating risks related to the respective technology and functional implementations.

• Analyzing complex issues and identifying creative and effective solutions, leveraging and weighing existing solutions, a holistic perspective of the problem statements and solutions and where appropriate
