    Additional Information:
    • These roles are Permanent Part-time, 30-40hrs/fortnight
    • Applications close Friday 20th February 2026
    • As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts (7:00am to 10:00pm). You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
    • If your application is progressed, you will be contacted and invited to a Group Assessment Centre on 25th February 2026.

    About this work area

    As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    Commercial:
    • Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
    • Food preparation and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels.
    • Clearing tables, wiping down benchtops and stocktake.
    • Active selling, cash handling and customer service.

    Operations:
    • Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
    • Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods.
    • Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant.
    • Active selling, cash handling, operation of ovens & fryers.



    As an IKEA Food Co-worker you are:
    • Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation.
    • Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment. Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded.
    • Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people.
    • Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
