We believe that you have a university degree in Swiss Law with very good achievement and a minimum 2 years of professional experience in a legal and governance environment.
You have knowledge in the following areas:
• legal and governance competence within Switzerland as well as relevant areas of operations
•very good knowledge of reviewing, drafting and negotiating a broad spectrum of agreements and legal information
• solid understanding of legal systems (including litigation procedures and especially
business, labour, marketing, real estate and/or contract law) in Switzerland
• experience as a lawyer working within a law firm / in-house organisation is positively evaluated
• the legislation regarding general corporate activities and operations
• Very good knowledge and application of legislation, legal systems and government policies in business and commerce environment
• capable to explore alternatives to reach outcomes acceptable to all parties
• capable to handle ambiguous or unpredictable situations
• capable to express ideas and opinions effectively in both writing and spoken conversations
• business fluent in both German and English is a must (written and spoken). Fluent in another Swiss national language (French/Italian) is positively evaluated.

Your responsibilities
As a Legal Specialist you will assist to review, support and secure the legal aspects of the businesses and operations in lngka country within the framework of working defined by lngka Group Legal & Governance.
You will:
• review, draft and negotiate commercial agreements and legal documents
• pro-actively support the management and other stakeholders in order to run the IKEA business and to secure the rights and assess the obligations in order to reduce exposure to legal risks and to optimise business opportunities
• be responsible to assist the Legal manager with review, support and secure legal aspects of the businesses and operations in Ingka for a designated country
• cooperate with, integrate in the business, and build good relations with, stakeholders to secure mutually sustainable solutions
• actively cooperate with Group Legal & Governance in order to secure alignment of country agenda
• implement standard processes and ways of working for the legal area in the lngka Group
• provide advice to relevant stakeholders in order to reduce exposure to risks and optimize opportunities.
• monitor and secure the legal aspects of IKEA Switzerland and give day to day assistance on legal and governance matters to IKEA businesses and operations in Switzerland.
• develop legal competence and provide education to relevant stakeholders
• keep updated in relevant international and local legal and governance developments,
including changes in international, domestic and case laws and regulations
