    Your responsibilities

    As a Unit People Planning Specialist, you will play a key role in driving the people planning strategy to enable a great co-worker experience while ensuring business goals are met. You will:
    • Implement people planning strategies at the unit level in line with local guidelines and IKEA principles
    • Collaborate with department managers to co-create efficient schedules that meet customer demands, co-worker needs, and budget frames.
    • Ensure adherence to employment standards, local legislation, and union requirements related to people planning.
    • Analyze and apply relevant data and digital tools to optimize staffing structures, workload distribution, and multi-skilling opportunities.
    • Act as a vital link between People & Culture and Business Navigation, ensuring alignment between planned and actual worked hours.
    • Support the recruitment planning process by ensuring vacancies align with headcount and capacity requirements.
    • Promote knowledge of people planning principles by educating and supporting co-workers and managers.
    • Facilitate accurate timecard evaluations and support digital transformation in the people planning process.
