【Purpose of Job】
Secure that the country People & Culture(HR) functions are able to focus on their core objectives, delivering to the People Strategy and business goals by providing and continuously improving People Administrative support in line with the Service Level Agreements. This position is referred to internally as "People & Culture Services Manager," but for clarity to job seekers, it is listed as "HR Services Manager" in the job posting.

【Required Qualifications】
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR management
• Experience using digital tools to optimize efficiency
• Experience in a global matrix organization
• Currently residing in Japan and holding a valid work visa

【Language Requirement】
•Business-level English (effective communication is valued more than perfection)
•Business-level Japanese

【Preferred qualifications】
•Management experience
•Familiarity with a wide range of HR functions

【Main responsibilities】
•Lead and supervise a team of five payroll specialists, ensuring accurate payroll processing and adherence to legal and company guidelines.
•Enhance the efficiency of social insurance procedures.
•Drive the integration, standardization, and continuous improvement of payroll processes, including transitioning to shared services.
•Implement digital solutions and tools.
•Address and resolve various HR and labor-related issues, including compliance with legal changes.
•Collaborate with relevant departments and stakeholders to manage relationships effectively.
•Support the standardization and alignment of HR management practices, coordinating with external vendors and international partners.
•Develop and implement team strategies and objectives.
•Promote the growth and engagement of team members.

【主な仕事内容】
このポジションは、5名のペイロールスペシャリストを含むチームを監督します。
• ペイロールプロセス全体の管理と監督を担当し、正確な給与計算と法令および会社のガイドラインの遵守を確保
• 社会保険手続きの管理と効率化の推進
• ペイロール関連のプロセスの統合、標準化、改善の推進(シェアドサービスへの移行含む)
• デジタルソリューションやツールの導入
• 各種人事労務課題への対応(法改正対応等)
• 各人事部門等の関係部門とのコミュニケーション(ステークホルダーマネジメント)
• 委託業者や他国の担当者との連携を含め、人事管理の標準化と整合性をサポート
• チームの戦略および目標の策定
• チームメンバーの育成、エンゲージメントの強化

About this work area

【Where you work/Access】
IKEA Japan Service Office (Head Office) is located on the 5th floor of IKEA Tokyo-Bay. We work in a hybrid style, with the option to work in the office 2-3 times a week and from home for the rest of the time. The office is a bright and open collaboration space, of course furnished with IKEA home furnishings!

【Working Hours】
Flexible working hours (based on a flextime labor-management agreement)

【Employment Status】
- Full-time regular employee- 40 hours per week contract
- Probation period: 6 months
- Start date is the first day of every month (consult with us about your start date)
- Retirement age: 65 years old
