We are IKEA Belfast, and we are pleased to meet you! We are excited to be looking to welcome co-workers to join our amazing Customer Relations team in Belfast.

WHAT WE OFFER
• £12.00 basic hourly rate
• Living Wage Foundation Employer
• Flexible working

• Part time contracts: Between 12 and 20 hours per week, working 3/5 days over 7, including evenings and weekends. We are particularly looking for cover for daytime between 11am and 6pm and weekends.

We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers so this role may require availability to work during the day, evenings, and weekends – but we can discuss this further with you at interview and we always strive to meet the needs of our co-workers whilst meeting the needs of the business. We offer permanent contracts, advanced scheduling & regular weekends off.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in a team and learning something new.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

This role is varied with no two days being the same; one minute you could be on checkouts and the next minute, you could be meeting and greeting our customers, assisting customers and providing great customer service.

• You aim to create a positive experience for our customers, so they will want to return and shop with us again over time.
• You work together with colleagues in other functions to improve the customer experience.
• Meeting and greeting our customers, assisting customers at the checkouts and returns desk.
• Build loyalty by listening to our customers and using your knowledge of the IKEA product range to offer informed solutions.
• You provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers in a busy retail environment.
