Inter IKEA Group brings together three areas: Retail Concept, Range and Supply. Together we work constantly to improve the IKEA home furnishing offer and make it more accessible for the many people. You will be part of IKEA Supply and the Supply Chain Development organization. IKEA Supply is responsible for securing that the product offer is produced and delivered to our customers. We lead the supply agenda across many functions and work together with all business areas, different business units, but also retail markets to secure customer availability in all markets and sales channels at lowest total cost.

Supply Chain Development (SCD) is one of the business units at IKEA Supply and we are on an exciting journey! By gathering the end-to-end supply chain development and innovation agenda into one organization, embedding management and development of processes and digital solutions into the business, we will meet the future with the right competences and business capabilities. By this we will also create the preconditions to a world class supply chain that enable IKEA to efficiently respond to the ever-changing customer needs. We are growing to meet our development agenda, thus, we are looking for Solution Architect within area of Supply Chain Planning Development within SCD.

In Supply Chain Planning Development, we manage and develop supply chain planning capabilities across the needed time horizons and granularity, through people, processes, data & technology. Our mission is to create the prerequisites for excellence in operations by enabling efficient and effective decision-making resulting in integrated end-to-end executable plans.


Job description

SCD- Curious Process Developer with drive to get things done- Network Planning

We are looking for a dedicated and innovative Process Developer who thrives on driving business improvements and achieving results. This role is crucial in promoting process-oriented business development and ensuring our operations align with IKEA's vision and core values. If you are passionate about analyzing, developing, and enhancing business processes, this might be the perfect role for you!

While Process Developer is your core competence, you will have the opportunity to contribute in different fields of development with different tasks based on business needs. This gives you the ability to grow and learn in different domains and skills.

You will be a part of one of our digital product teams, working in an agile set up to deliver to our set priorities. You use your knowledge and previous experience to contribute on needed topics so the team can reach set goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver as part of a digital product team with set priorities.
  • Improve, develop, and maintain process documentation according to defined framework (process maps, working methods, task descriptions, measurement specifications, learning material, etc.).
  • Develop, and maintain process/sub-process design and propose improvements.
  • Gather, understand, and analyze the business benefits of identified process improvement potentials.
  • Facilitate the way of working with process-oriented business development.
  • Lead, manage, and/or support process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with related functions for holistic business solutions.
  • Ensure consistency among interconnected processes
  • Participate in external networks for benchmarking and enhancing knowledge.

Qualification

What We're Looking For:

Ability to listen to and understand the needs of the business, both in daily operations and in aligning future plans and strategies into development initiatives. Integrity and the ability to establish relationships at all levels of the organization, based on trust and a desire to learn from others as well as to share your knowledge.
  • Self-driven continuous Learner: Commitment to staying updated with industry trends and best practices, with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering results.
  • Connecting the dots: Strong problem-solving skills, capable of handling complexity and seeing both the big picture and the details. Experience in process development and improvement methods
  • Communicator and change enabler: Strong communication skills along with strong conflict management ability. You should be able to make your case, be to the point and explain complex topics in an understandable way. Ability to enable change, motivate, lead (in- and directly), and inspire. You can facilitate discussions to reach a common view and conclusions.

Knowledge of IKEA’s business model, value chain, and deeper knowledge in specific processes, especially in network planning or flow planning, is an advantage.
