    About the job

    Lead and inspire the logistics team to ensure seamless goods availability, efficient, cost-effective goods flow processes, and strong logistics competence both in-store and online. Accountable for contributing to a great omnichannel customer experience by ensuring high product availability, customer-centric service operations, and a safe environment across all touchpoints. Strengthen the business growth and individual development by maintaining a dynamic succession plan for all key logistics and recovery roles, ensuring continuity and future readiness across the organization. 

    Your assignment

    • Lead the store logistics department while collaborating with the country fulfilment team and the store commercial team to ensure optimal goods availability and seamless customer order fulfilment across all channels, at the lowest possible cost. 

    • Actively contributes to the store business planning process, leveraging global and country insights to develop and track logistics and recovery actions that support the overall country strategy.  

    • Ensure the development and efficient use of long-term logistics capacity in the store, aligning with the range framework. This includes optimizing space, equipment, and staffing to support the entire supply chain across both in-store and digital operations. 

    • Ensure alignment with the objectives and goals outlined in the Global Supply Chain Operational Handbook, local appendices, and service agreements with transport providers and country fulfilment operations team. 

    • Monitor the performance of the logistics and recovery departments across all channels, taking proactive actions to achieve growth, budget, efficiency and performance goals outlined in the business and action plans, both in-store and online. 

    • Analyse customer satisfaction feedback, IKEA Brand Pulse reports, co-worker satisfaction insights, and functional topic reviews fulfilment and availability to formulate targeted actions.  

    • Ensure that the store logistics and recovery departments work in compliance with the IKEA Code of Conduct, internal IKEA regulations, standard operating procedures and local legislation relating to health, safety and security and the environment.

    Your profile

    • Have a passion for logistics and working in a fast-paced omnichannel environment and agile to adapt to the diverse demand.  

    • Experience of setting and implementing action plans, setting budgets and following up goals. 

    • Understand how to lead and manage teams to build high-performance cultures to ensure future succession. 

    • Know how to leverage logistics expertise within the commercial team to enhance the overall commercial success of the store online and offline. 

    • Ability to execute with speed, simplicity, and flexibility, even in unpredictable circumstances, ensuring seamless operations across all channels. 

    • Ability to apply key performance indicators rigorously to drive improvements in workflows, efficiency, and cost management, while encouraging innovative and unconventional thinking to sustain continuous improvement. 

    • Ability to lead by driving performance and results through effective team and stakeholder engagement across all channels.
