What you'll be doing day to day
As an Operational Support Manager, responsible for increasing the efficiency of operations for the Distribution / Customer Fulfillment Center, you will:
Responsible for leading, coaching and developing a high performing Operational Support Team.
Responsible for high performing daily operations with a focus on quality for the lowest possible cost.
Responsible for goal setting and initiating local business plans/projects implementation.
Support Warehouse Operations team in creating planning based on volume forecasts with Mid-term Plan (MTP) and Short-term Plan (STP) to meet goods availability as well as short and stable customer lead-times.
Responsible for securing the implementation of new warehousing processes, technologies and ways of working.
Secure compliance to Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) for the operations support department, which highlights quality awareness.
Responsible for maintenance, user & data management for applicable central fulfilment unit systems as well as providing business intelligence and metrics reporting.
Promote the IKEA Culture together with the unit manager by cultivating an environment that establishes good examples of leadership.

The pay range for this role is $84686-$123418

QUALIFICATIONS
People management experience.
Experience in securing the implementation of mid-term and long-term strategies.
High organizational and strong analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good coaching/mentoring, and facilitation skills.
Conflict management skills and problem-solving experience.
Requirements
Ability to lift, sit, stand, and walk for length of shift.
