  • What you'll need to have

    • Broad knowledge of best practices for creating, publishing and editing content from a customer centric point of view
    • Broad knowledge of how to structure and present information in all touchpoints in a way that makes sense to end user
    • Broad knowledge of defining, planning, creating, executing and following up on range presentation documentation in a relevant, simple and inspiring way with IKEA tone of voice and visual identity
    • Broad knowledge of trends that influence home furnishing, retail design and communication to gain insight to a more appealing product presentation for customers
    • Broad knowledge of IKEA concept, brand objectives, values and vision
    • Broad knowledge of IKEA tools, processes and cycles
    • Motivated by increasing customer value and thinking customer first
    • Passionate about understanding the behaviours of the many people, the local Life at Home and current Home Furnishing trends
    • Motivated by finding new ways through co-creation with colleagues and other IKEA units
    • Create market specific communication solutions for all channels supporting Commercial Calendar or based on a brief from local functions such as Communications, Marketing, Sales or Sustainability
    • Create inspired and qualitative graphic design that showcases the IKEA visual and verbal identity
    • Use expertise in integrating graphic design solutions in commercial contexts, in order to add value and help create a visually stimulating and convenient experience for consumers
    • Secure communication needs are met in the customer experience by providing relevant content, in appealing and easy to understand formats
    • Secure and plan for an efficient production and implementation of graphic design solutions
    • Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to secure integration, common focus and to maximize impact
    • Contribute to the integrated multichannel executions/output of HF&RD in order to contribute to the business goals
    • Measure performance of output in own areas to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, and to ensure performance excellence throughout the year
    • Formal qualifications in Graphic Design or equivalent
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Graphic Design or similar
    • Experience in driving output within set scope and following up results
    • Good communication skills in Spanish and English

    • Strong capabilities in graphic design tools and ability to translate abstract concepts into graphic representations
    • Ability to understand the role of Commercial as an integrated part of the IKEA business
    • Ability to deliver within scope of tasks and perform with quality and speed
    • Ability to follow up on work done and capture learnings to improve
    • Ability to create innovative retail and home furnishing designs based on concept and marketing objective
