We are looking to welcome a customer-centric Warehouse Retail Team Manager to lead an amazing team. In IKEA, we call this a Fulfilment Operations Team Leader.

You will be responsible for reaching excellence in the daily running of order fulfilment operations by supporting your team, and communicating objectives and goals on a daily basis.

This is no ordinary warehouse role, this is a customer-facing role, and so if you have suitable transferable skills then we would love to hear from you.

WHAT WE OFFER
• The starting point for this role is £26,739 per annum based on competencies and experience.
• 39 hours weekly, working 5 days out of 7 and every second weekend off.
• Working hours are ordinarily between 08:00am and 21:00pm.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• Relevant experience in retail, logistics or customer-facing role.
• Proven experience in leading teams, with a track record of successful leadership that delivers both business results and personal development.
• Proven experience in setting priorities, delegating responsibility, and giving open and honest feedback.
• Business-minded approach with a clear customer focus and ability to meet agreed budgets and goals.
• Ability to implement structural way of working within the area of responsibility.
• Clear communication skills, inspiring, coaching and working with others.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
This is a customer-facing warehouse role.

• Lead the team to ensure that the customer warehouse has the right amount of products at the right time.
• Take lead with recruiting, daily staff planning, retaining, and developing talent to secure a diverse, high-performing team that can execute responsibilities with confidence.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment throughout the department, ensuring that co-workers work in compliance with IKEA regulations and local legislation related to health, safety, security, and the environment.
• Ensuring the right amount of stock is located in the right place at the right time for our customers to purchase.
• Drive the implementation of business plans and projects.
